Expert Analysis

Fitzpatrick’s Week 1 performance might not flash in terms of heavy stat numbers, yet four tackles, an interception, and two scores are definitely worth a mention. This is especially so after a Week 0 performance that had Fitzpatrick accumulating over 190 total yards and six tackles at DB. Hell of a two weeks put-on by the defensive back who could easily crack the top 20 at his position. The senior is proving he deserves to be regarded with some of the better athletes in the state. I didn’t think he had this much wiggle with the ball in his hands. Coaches are going to love the first-three game tape out of this young man.

Keino recently earned his 3rd scholarship opportunity from PSAC program, Lock Haven. Last month, his first 2 offers came by way of Clarion and Notre Dame College in Cleveland. Fitzpatrick is a smooth DB that contests passes and covers well. The senior prospect has been timed at a low 4.5 second forty-yard-dash time this summer.

He’s an effective two-way player for Montour High School. Fitzpatrick is competitive in man or zone coverages. Keino’s a smart player with sharp play recognition. His confidence allows him to anticipate & break on the ball quickly. He’s skilled at contesting passes versus bigger competition. Fitzpatrick has a good pad level & tempo in his backpedal. His transitions are smooth, & he T steps well when he breaks on the ball. Offensively, KF shows elusiveness, quickness, and speed when he has the football. Keino’s a good route runner with reliable pass-catching hands. Fitz has what takes to be a contributor on special teams collegiately.

Keino is good athlete with good speed for the Spartans. At CB he displays the ability to break on the ball off of a “T” step well. He has the speed to stay on top of WR’s on deep balls & ride them out of bounds in coverage. Fitzpatrick is not afraid to tackle & plays bigger than 165 lbs. He has good ball skills & consistently contests deep balls against bigger competition. Keino has big playmaker potential on both sides, but he needs to meet that expectation more frequently. he has recently been receiving FBS interest.
