McIver lines up at both cornerback and slot receiver in his 3-game highlights below. He scores on an out-and-up from the 44 after adjusting to the ball around the 30, then outjumps a defensive back on a fade and comes down with it. On defense, he reads a short throw before it is out, arrives as the catch is made, and holds it to minimal gain. On another defensive play, McIver starts in press, leaves one receiver when a second enters his area, and breaks up a pass in the end zone. As a wide receiver, focusing his highlights on his defensive back skills could help his recruiting cause out even more.

Kam really caught my eye with his play for Dime U this weekend and he was a key player for them on both sides of the ball. In their first round game on Sunday, he was making some big plays that helped Dime U secure the victory. A long, lean athletic body kid with a smooth stride, Kam gets upfield quickly at WR and shows great range at FS. He tracks the ball well and can go up and high point it, bringing it down over other players. He did so both in making catches and for an INT/PBUs this weekend. Kam is player with a nice skill set that can develop well over the next year. Look for him to be an impact player on both sides of the ball for Urbana this fall.
