A promising young linebacker from Savannah who had a really strong sophomore season this fall, Young is another active defender who may lack ideal size, but still plays hard and closes quickly on the ball-carrier. He has a feel for the position, competes every play, and has a true nose for the ball. The 6-foot-0 190-pounder made 90 tackles this season with five TFLs and two sacks. He’ll be an easy addition to the next Prep Redzone rankings and may be e potential “breakout” candidate in the Savannah area next year in the 2028 class. If he continues to work hard and develop in the off-season, Young could hit the 100-tackle mark and see his recruitment pick up down the road.
