“Murphy is an explosive threat out of the backfield with great speed, acceleration, and elusiveness with the ball. Murphy is ultra-impressive when he turns the corner. There’s no one on the field who can catch up with his type of speed. When you combine that with his field vision and ability to change direction/make defenders miss, it makes him all the more difficult to stop.
I’m equally impressed with Murphy’s contact balance and ability to avoid tackles. He’s a tough runner who can take hits and keep moving no matter who’s in front of him. He truly is a scoring/ big play threat on every carry he picks up- there’s so much he does well at his position.”
Murphy is a 2028 prospect I expect to shoot up our rankings in no time. He’s extremely talented and has already shown a ton of potential in his film. There’s a lot to be excited for.
