My final notable defensive back to keep an eye on in the class of 2026 in St. Louis County is

. Hurst lines up on the outside at corner where he is very reliable in zone coverage. He does a great job of reading routes and breaking on the ball with perfect timing to make a play. When the ball is thrown his way, he has shown tremendous ball skills, coming away with five interceptions as a junior. He has also shown the ability to provide run support, finishing last season with 38 tackles. Hurst doesn’t currently hold any offers but he is definitely a player who college coaches should have their eyes on this season.

is a First-Team All-State lockdown corner with tremendous ball skills. He is a legit playmaker, coming off a standout junior season with five interceptions and two scores. Kam breaks on the ball like a heat-seeking missile, with only two possible outcomes—a pick or a breakup. Offensive coordinators prefer the latter because if he gets his hands on the football cleanly, he can take it the distance. Hurst is a pure athlete with amazing Jaylon Johnson like instincts, and trusts his technique to win. He can lock up your No. 1 wide receiver without needing help over the top. Even more impressive than being a turnover machine, he is a solid tackler in space and doesn’t shy away from contact when coming up to secure the ball carrier. Next fall should be a movie for this kid.
Holds offers from SEMO, Eastern Illinois, Sacramento State, Southern Illinois Carbondale, Lindenwood…

is another defensive back who stood out to me as a sophomore. He lines up at corner where he locks down his side of the field in man coverage. Hurst does a great job of mirror the receiver’s route then breaking on the ball with perfect timing to make a play. He finished this past season with one interception and 11 pass breakups. Hurst also showed the ability to provide run support, finishing the year with 42 solo tackles and two tackles for loss. He also made an impact on offense at receiver, catching 13 passes for 301 yards and three touchdowns. Kameron has received a little college interest and I expect him to be a player to continue to watch heading into his junior year.
