The big bodied 6’2 285 DL really saw his recruiting pick up this offseason after an outstanding Junior season where he recorded 75 TT with 6.5 sacks. Cody received a ton of offers in the early Spring and recently committed to Dabo Sweeney and the Clemson Tigers. Athletic big man that uses his weight and hands well to move offensive lineman. A decisive tackler that plays with a chip on his shoulder. Great on field demeanor to be a future defensive star in the ACC.

One of the top overall defenders in Savannah, Cody is an explosive interior defensive tackle who uses his quickness, violent hands, and leverage to fight off blocks and make plays in the backfield. He’s built well physically at 6-foot-2 285-pounds and can make opposing linemen look silly. He can blow up any particular play and has seen new offers come his way from Indiana, Vanderbilt, and Virginia Tech this month will more likely heading his way soon. He ended his junior season with 75 tackles, nine TFLs, and 6.5 sacks. Cody was incredibly productive last season and still has his best football ahead of him.
