Cobb is a force against the run- he has a great burst off the line of scrimmage, eats up space, and will fight off multiple blockers to pursue and take down the ball carrier. Cobb is really good in pursuit- he consistently plays through the whistle, covering tons of ground to come up with stops against the run and pass, it’s really impressive watching the effort he plays with. Cobb is just as productive as a pass rusher, he generates a ton of pressure on passing downs and consistently forces QBs into making bad decisions with the ball.
Cobb was really productive last fall for Guntersville, ending his junior year with 28 total tackles (14 solo, one for loss), and constantly pressuring and forcing bad throws from opposing QBs.
