The most eye-popping 2027 prospect at the running back position hails from Aberdeen Central in Kalen Larson Kalen Larson 5'10" | 170 lbs | RB Aberdeen Central | 2026 State SD , who was one of my favorite 2027s overall in Jamestown. The natural instincts Kalen showed off is what drew me into his live reps, as I was surprised early in our session that he was as young as he was with his agility he showed off. Consistency is a key word when evaluating testing numbers, and Kalen’s numbers showed that off a ton. He also showed off a more natural pass-catcher in 1v1 reps than we had expected, as a prospect I would give my 2027 offensive MVP from the Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase.
