Kalani was all over the ball carrier all night long, no matter who it was. Steward set the Richland HS record for tackles in a season last year when he recorded 97 as a junior. He’s looking to build off his fantastic season and improve on it. Week 1 he did just that against Southridge HS, the senior racked up 21 tackles and was phenomenal. He hits the holes going full speed, he reads the offense/QB very well being able to anticipate if it’s a pass or run quickly. You can tell he enjoys the contact, as he was involved in plays all night. He is on pace to break his own tackles record in a season.
