Michael Montgomery Michael Montgomery 6'3" | 230 lbs | LB Garfield | 2023 State WA – LB, Garfield
Montgomery comes in ranked as PRZ’s #1 LB in Washington’s 2023 class with offers from Oregon, Washington, Arkansas, South Carolina, and Nevada. He’s a physical tackler from his ILB spot with a big, athletic body at 6’3”/230. He’s a rangy defender that shows great burst and lateral speed tackling sideline-to-sideline. He plays well with his eyes diagnosing plays and reacting to the ball. Montgomery’s recruitment will be one to watch with several PNW and SEC schools already involved.
After a great talk with @FBCoachJSmith I blessed to get offered by the University Of Arkansas 🔴⚪🔴!!!! Go Razorbacks pic.twitter.com/nFtghCyCyD

Maki Piper Maki Piper 6'2" | 220 lbs | LB Federal Way | 2023 State WA – LB, Highline
Another top-5 LB in the state, Piper picked up his first offers from Nevada and UNLV in March. He’s a heavy hitter in the front seven that can be disruptive in the backfield and is a reliable, physical tackler in space. He closes space on ball-carriers quickly and takes proper angles in pursuit. Piper should continue to build recruiting momentum as one of the top LBs in the state and could see P5 interest coming in the near future.
After a great conversation with @CoachMikeBethea I’m blessed to announce I have received my second Division 1 scholarship offer to the University of Nevada #GoWolfPack@CoachKWils @NevadaFootball @DCoop_32 @HighlineFBall @BrandonHuffman @RylandSpencer pic.twitter.com/uq9gGAZbfQ

Kalani Steward Kalani Steward 6'0" | 200 lbs | LB Richland | 2023 State WA – LB, Richland
Steward is a downhill disruptor that can get in the backfield in a hurry and make plays behind the LOS. He shows fast, active feet with good range of motion and short-area burst tracking down ball-carriers. He’s an aggressive tackler with a high motor and violent at the POA. Steward presents underrated upside in his high-level physicality and effort. He’s taken several D-I visits the past few months and could be on the verge of picking up his first offer soon.

Noah Faber Noah Faber 5'11" | 215 lbs | LB Marysville-Pilchuck | 2023 State WA – LB, Marysville-Pilchuck
Faber is a high volume tackler that totaled 136 tackles and 32 TFLs in his junior season. He’s an effective blitzer in the interior that can shed blocks and explode downhill. He’s an excellent read-and-react player that shows great instincts and a nose for the football. Faber’s high-level production from his LB spot should help him generate D-I interest heading into the fall.
Junior Season Highlights
136 Tackles (School record)
32 TFL (School record)
5 Pass Def
2 Sacks
5 QB Hits
