6’4 200, Kai Oesterle Kai Oesterle 6'4" | 200 lbs | EDGE/K Coal Ridge | 2026 State CO has great frame and strength.  Off the snap, Oesterle does a great job timing the snap to threat both around the edge beating the OT around the edge or utilizing his length and strength to power his way to the QB.  Around the edge, he does a good job dipping and ripping for pressures and sacks. He led the team with 12 TFLS, 10.5 sacks, 3 FF, and 57 TKLs (2nd on the team.)   Oesterle has a high motor, consistently pursuing runs away and rallying downfield to help bring down ballcarriers.  Oesterle also did his part in the kicking game, with a decent leg on KOs.

Oesterle has been a disruptive force on defense, totaling 47 tackles, 2 tackles for loss and a sack. His ability to shed blocks quickly and pressure the quarterback makes him a constant challenge for opposing offenses.
