The starting center for the 5A All-State Team. Kael has a great size for an offensive linemen. Measuring at 6’4″ 300 pounds, Kael is a powerful man in the trenches. He’s got good athletic ability due to very good quickness out of snap into blocking stance, solid speed and acceleration. Very powerful offensive linemen. Good competitive toughness and will play after the whistle. Low pad level against the defensive line. Good hand placement to lock out defenders. Good hand strength to steer DL away and create holes. Footwork mirrors the defenders which allows him to beat them in 1 on 1s. Useful with combo blocks and going out to solo blocks. Good anchor too.

Weatherby is a player that is able to impose his will on defenders at times, being able to use his strength and drive defensive linemen off of the line in the running game. He shows the quickness to be able to pull block and get to the second level in the running game as well. He is able to play with balance and rarely gives ground to power rushers, using his quickness to get good hand placement. He can be an anchor in the passing game, he is smooth getting set and can mirror pass rushers stopping them in their tracks. He is physical at the point of attack and when he gets hands on can disrupt the defensive flow upfront.
