About Kade

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Physical, downhill linebacker who plays fast, diagnoses quickly, and finishes tackles with control. Versatile enough to play inside or outside and reliable in run support.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a disciplined, team-first competitor who brings consistent effort every day. I’m coachable, accountable, and take pride in doing my job. I prepare seriously, play with physicality, and hold myself to a high standard on and off the field.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I’ve taken on leadership responsibilities within my football program and strive to be a positive presence in the locker room and on campus. I take academics seriously and work to balance school, training, and recovery. I’ve been recognized by coaches for my work ethic, coachability, and consistency.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve been recognized by my coaches and peers as a leader. I’m coachable, reliable, and disciplined with my preparation. I take pride in being consistent in the weight room, on the field, and in how I carry myself every day.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I dealt with a hamstring tear last season that forced me to step away from the field. I attacked rehab daily at Proactive Sports and used the time to improve my strength, mobility, and speed. The experience made me more disciplined with my preparation, and I’m returning stronger and faster for this season.

What type of college are you looking for?

My goal is to play at the highest level of college football and continue developing every day to give myself a chance to compete at the next level. I’m focused on controlling what I can: preparation, effort, and continuous improvement.

Parkinson transferred over to Chaminade from Oak Christian after his freshman year and is one of the more active and athletic linebackers in the class across California. He shows he is a very high IQ player that is always running to the ball, tackles well in space and can play sideline to sideline and packs a punch at the point of attack. He can apply pressure with good timing up the middle or off the edge and has quick change of direction in the open field, cover abilities downfield and flashes he can shock and shed in the box and should find time at the varsity level as a sophomore in 2026.
