was just mentioned in our New to the Top 100 article entering our 2024 rankings as the #95 overall player and 9th best running back in the senior class. Without repeating myself from that article, Pearson is another running back from an unconventional offensive system in high school that makes it tough to project how he’ll translate in college. He’s a longer looking running back at 5’11 180 who would benefit from some added mass to his frame. Pearson has good speed and has been clocked in the 4.6 40 range and runs the 100-meter dash in the mid 11-second times. He should be a lock for a D2 offer and I expect that’s where he’ll sign in February.

was one of Winfield’s talented wing-backs last season and was their speed option at running back. Pearson ripped off several big runs in 2022 and was at his best on tosses and outside runs. With his speed, Pearson can get to the edge and hit the corner in a hurry. Once he’s out in space he’s tough to catch up to and run down. Pearson rushed for over 300 yards and 3 touchdowns as a junior and should see that production increase mightily in his senior season. Pearson can also line up in the slot and run routes when Winfield does throw the ball. He is also a talented defensive back on defense where he could also play in college. Look for him to have a big senior season on a reloaded Winfield team.
