Heckman is one of the top Quarterbacks in the 2027 class. Measuring 6’1 220 he possesses a frame that’s ready to handle the rigors of playing quarterback at the college level. I wouldn’t necessarily call him a dual threat, but he’s a guy who can hurt defenses with his feet or his arm. Justin has a compact throwing motion and is able to get the ball out quickly. The physical traits are there. I’m excited to see what this summer and senior season have to bring for Heckman.

Heckman was a QB that I was interested in seeing. The 2027 QB from Reynoldsburg has a sturdy build and a good base to work from physically. As a thrower Heckman has a live arm and a smooth throwing motion. He showed off the touch to drop the ball in the bucket. I’m really excited to see what he can put on film this fall because the physical traits are definitely there.

Heckman was a wild card coming into Saturdays event and he proved to be one of the best quarterbacks at the event. He showcased his explosiveness and pure talent through warm-ups and one-on-ones. Heckman showed solid touch down the field and he could also rocket in some short throws. His athleticism is very good and he tested well for his position group. I hope to see Heckman ride this wave of good momentum into the season as he looks to lead Reynoldsburg in 2025.
