Washington is an explosive 2 sport athlete. He just added a district player of the year in basketball to his list of awards. At 6’4 he has a thin but athletic frame with the room to add good weight. He’s a threat to stretch the field vertically. With his background where I think Washington excels is in his ability to win 50/50 balls. He has a great feel for shielding defenders and going up and getting it much as a basketball player would going for a rebound. You can see his bounce and athleticism on the basketball court with his various array of in game dunks. It would seem that Washington would lean towards the basketball route, but if he decided to play football, he definitely has D1 ability.
