is a well-covered prospect and has produced on varsity since he was a freshman. Against Cherokee, he shouldered the workload in a 28-27 win, rushing the ball 26 times for a season best 256 yards and 2 TDs. On the year, he is over the 1000 yard mark and is averaging 9 yards a carry. Allen runs extremely hard in the open field, playing with good contact balance and throwing stiff-arms at defenders to create separation. He is a one-cut style runner, violently planting his foot and jumping clean across the face of defenders. He is a silky runner in the open field, making him very hard to catch. Allen is committed to play Ivy League ball at Colgate, where I believe he will contribute.

Similar to Romain, Allen has been a playmaker for Wheeler since his freshman season. Allen is a one-cut, vertical runner, making one or two quick moves behind the LOS before exploding through openings and finding green grass. He might not possess the twitchiness or elite speed that other RBs in the class do, but his patience and ability to find green grass allows him to pick up several yards before contact. Allen is only going to continue to improve. He looks to have a solid grasp of the position, and a college strength and conditioning program should allow him to raise the floor of his game. Allen is committed to play Ivy League ball at Cornell.

Allen is a slippery runner with good elusiveness. I like his ability to string together moves and the balance he illustrates through those cuts. Allen has impressive stop/start ability, lateral quickness, and the ability to take advantage of cut-back opportunities. He has proven to be a reliable receiving option with the ability to create for himself after the catch. His vision in the open field is outstanding and he has a natural feel for manipulating defenders and taking advantage of opportunities to be creative in space.
