As is the case with these periods, several prospects will start to pick up some traction on the trail. Here are a few players in Georgia that I am watching closely over the next few weeks.
Josiah Allen Josiah Allen 5'10" | 190 lbs | RB Wheeler | 2025 State GA – 2025 – RB – Wheeler
Allen has been a highly productive runner since his freshman season. Headed into his senior campaign, he has an offer under his belt from Stetson, but he remains someone I am watching closely to see if some more buzz comes his way. Allen is a one-cut, vertical runner who seems to make more strides in his physical development each season. He is well-built at 5’10 190 and still has more growth in the tank. He is super explosive in the short areas, jumping across the face of would-be tacklers and quickly spilling out to the open field. He runs hard and generates plenty of drive on each stride, allowing him to run through arm tackles and maintain balance as he lumbers away toward the endzone.
Tayvian McKibbins Tayvian McKibbins 6'4" | 270 lbs | OL Cass | 2025 State GA – 2025 – OL – Cass
McKibbins is a unique eval. He is somewhat overshadowed on a highly talented Cass offensive line, but he is an impressive prospect in his own right and has D1 offers under his belt. He is an athletic big man at 6’4 300 and has upside on both the offensive and defensive line. He is a stout, thick-bodied prospect who might project best at OG or RT. He can kick out and act as a lead blocker, flashing his impact-style blocking. He is quick on his feet and uses his footwork to drive defenders once he gets his hands on them. On the defensive front, his heavy hands stun blockers and once he is clear of traffic, he flashes decent closing speed to the football for a player of his size. Whether he plays on the OL or DL, McKibbins is someone who should catch some eyes once college coaches roll into town.
Caleb Bell Caleb Bell 6'3" | 255 lbs | DL Milton | 2025 State GA – 2025 – DL – Milton
Bell has caught my attention ever since he was at St. Francis. This year at Milton, he put up good numbers and good film against stiff competition week after week. He holds an offer from NC State, and I would bet on more P5 offers coming his way before all is said and done. Bell has the unique ability to rush the passer and create penetration from any spot. He does this by converting speed to power in his hot pursuit of the QB, rumbling through blockers and violently shedding blocks. He isn’t a one-trick pony either. He can jump across the face of blockers to enter new rushing lanes and spin off blockers. Bell has another year of development at a high level of HSFB before he enters the college ranks.
RaShud Conaway RaShud Conaway 6'1" | 180 lbs | DB Ware County | 2025 State GA – 2025 – DB – Ware County
Conaway is a blend of a lot of things major CFB programs are looking for in CBs. He is long, lanky, fluid, and plays with a physical edge as a tackler. He is capable of stepping up and pressing WRs thanks to his length and fluidity in his hips. He flashes good makeup speed and does a good job of getting himself in a position to play through the hands of the WR. His ball skills translate to different coverages and stem from his ability to stick on the hip of WRs. He perhaps plays his best ball in off-man and zone coverages, where he can quickly click from one receiver to another and come downhill when needed. He is not afraid to engage blocks and will knock them onto their heels and well off their platform, which then gives him plenty of room to operate. Conaway picked up an offer early in his career from Georgia Southern, but there might still be another recruiting push left in the tank.
Jude Cascone Jude Cascone 6'3" | 220 lbs | TE Walton | 2026 State GA – 2026 – TE – Walton
Cascone is a dynamic two-way player for Walton who steadily carved out a role on varsity for the Raiders. He comes in at 6’2 220 and still appears somewhat lanky at this stage of growth, meaning there is plenty of physical upside here worth monitoring. He is a fairly athletic and twitchy player for his size, which allows him to make some plays after the catch when given room to run. He looks the part as a blocker, both when attached to the line and when peeling out to locate second-level defenders. On defense, he does gift Walton some more athleticism on the defensive front. While he is still developing as a block shedder, he can run all over the field and flag down the football when needed. He is still raw but is sure to generate some attention from college coaches when they get eyes on him.
