Odutola was productive on both sides of the ball for Wheeler and has emerged as the top college prospect on this roster. He has long been a favorite of mine and is someone I covered well prior to his sophomore breakout. He is a cut, strong player who has developed well as an athlete. He leverages the ball well, tackles with good technique, and has desired pop at the POA. For those reasons, I project him out as a DB, and specifically, as a safety/nickel. He is firmly on the college radar.

Odutola is an exciting breakout player for Wheeler and someone who I think is capable of generating FBS buzz. He is well developed for his age, filled into his frame with a cut physique. He plays all over the field for Wheeler, but I project him best as a DB, specifically as a nickel/safety. He patiently leverages the ball, attacks the trunk of ball carriers, and is physical at the point of attack. Odutola is an exciting player who college programs should get familiar with.

Odutola popped on my radar this offseason after generating some buzz on the camp/media scene. He is settling in as a skill player and caught my eye in a close week 1 loss to North Forsyth. He played on both sides of the ball and was the first player to catch my eye when I turned on the tape, even before the HUDL marker showed up. He is long, carries his weight well, and was always around the ball as a tackler. It’s clear to see why there is some early buzz here. I like the traits and expect him to develop into a D1 prospect.
