- While he and Davis made up the stronger side of the Offensive Line, it was Plourde’s play on the Defensive Line that made me and anyone who watched him this past season, pay attention. The Sumner County Defensive Player of the Year was a reliable player from the opening whistle of the season, as he tallied 10 sacks, over 35 tackles and every lineman’s dream of scoring a touchdown on a pick-six.
