The best player in the night game played like it. Big number 71 played with his hand off the dirt for the majority of the game, aligning at OLB and ILB early and often. When I think of Angelo’s game, I can’t help but fall in love with the aggressive DL reps shown in previous years’ tapes. So much so that I forget that Angelo is a bit agile on his feet, more so than many other 235-pound DL. Seeing him maneuver through traffic without playing off the snap was intriguing to watch. Angelo aligning at ILB spotlights the kid’s pursuit skills. His ability to react and close the gap between himself and the ball carrier was on full display. Angelo was witnessed making plays in the backfield, as well as 15+ yards downfield, shows off the young man’s effort to chase kids down. I was a fan of Josh for some time, even more so now. I’ll speak well of his abilities when speaking to college coaches recruiting East Pennsboro.
