Despite his size, Hamer has a fair amount of agility and shiftiness with his feet to move well laterally, and when he gets his hands on a defender, there’s practically no getting around him, he is simply dominant as a run blocker, and he was a big reason why the Cougars finished with over 3500 yards of rushing in 2025. Hamer’s skillset may suit him better as an interior-lineman at the next level, but there is no doubt that Hamer has D1 potential written all over him. That has been proven as he holds D1 offers from Iowa State, Minnesota, and Kansas State, and he’s bound to receive more over the following months.
