at a recent 7v7 event involving Stene’s MN Air Raid squad, and the sophomore once again had a good visibility point for PRZMN at the 612Q’s Offensive Skills Camp on Saturday at Concordia-St. Paul. Stene’s deep ball was booming, and he displayed he could seriously stretch the field on Saturday, leading WRs and hitting them in stride while working to the third level of the field. Stene is doing a great job of improving and developing month to month and season to season.

had a good showing for the 507-based 7v7 squad, engineering quite a few efficient offensive drives that really had his passing attack hummin’. Stene throws a good ball on the move and is comfortable in off-platform settings, and I like how he sees and reads the field with patience. Stene was a little bit up-and-down in terms of accuracy throughout the day, but he still has a lot of time and development left in his game and maturation, so keep an eye on the young Cougars QB going into his upperclassman era.

A 2028 QB out of Lakeville South, Stene had a good showing for a freshman amongst a group of upperclassmen and even college QBs. Built like a freshman but still has a lot of time to grow and develop, and although he didn’t have the biggest arm in attendance, he was consistent in his accuracy and could really put the ball on the money and right into the breadbasket of a receiver’s awaiting hands. Got better and better as the night wore on and had his teammates and peers fired up with some of the big boy throws he pulled off towards the end of the workout. I’m never going to complain about accuracy! Looking forward to seeing this kid continue to develop.
