With 102 tackles and 15 sacks this past season, Jordyn was a highly productive player for a very good Dudley team. When I saw him live, I thought he was a strong nose tackle who simply could not be moved in the running game. Jordyn is an anchor who can set the strength of the defense up front. His pass rush ability simply comes from his incredible strength and literally pushing the pocket right up the middle of the offensive line. Colleges are just now seeing his talent – in the last two days, Jordyn has picked up offers from Elizabeth City State and Allen University. I think more opportunities will come his way, as he is a player who is ready to come in and contribute early on the right level in college football.

Jordyn was an absolute monster in the interior of the defensive line in this one. JM Robinson repeatedly tried to run inside and Jordyn just couldn’t be moved. His power and burst off the line affected both the run game and the passing attack, as his presence to push the pocket from the interior forced JM Robinson to move the pocket in the passing game to try and get some things going offensively throughout the game.

Ratliff has been exceptional on the interior of the defensive line. He’s a unit on the inside, able to simply dig in his heels and hold his ground. It’s rare to see a true nose tackle at the high school level anymore, but Ratliff plays primarily as a 0-technique in a 3-4. Still, his numbers are surprisingly robust for someone who plays that position. He has 23 tackles for loss, a forced fumble and even an interception.
