Newport Harbor athlete Jordan Anderson Jordan Anderson Jordan Anderson 6'1" | 165 lbs | WR/TE Newport Harbor | 2024 State CA announced his commitment to Oregon State on Tuesday.

Anderson had previously committed to Oregon in December of 2022, but withdrew his commitment in early December of this year.

He had 995 yards receiving for Newport Harbor this season with 9 touchdowns. Defensively he was a shut down corner.

Anderson took visits to Oregon State and San Diego State two weekends ago before making his decision.

Anderson caught 47 passes for 984 yards with 14 touchdowns.

He has steadily improved since his sophomore season and is a good enough athlete to be recruited as a defensive back as well. Newport’s new quarterback Jaden O’Neal Jaden O’Neal Jaden O’Neal 6'3" | 205 lbs | QB Mustang | 2026 State OK will love having Anderson and Lamarque to throw to.
