Jonny Lind Jonny Lind 6'3" | 275 lbs | DL/EDGE Covington Catholic | 2027 State KY jumped onto my radar with a strong junior year. He is a versatile defensive lineman who can line up and both tackle and end. Against the run, Lind uses his strength to his advantage to fight through blocks with ease. Lind has shown the speed to get to the ball carrier in a hurry to make the tackle before they can get going, finishing last season with 58 tackles in 13 games. He also recorded four sacks as a junior. Jonny is committed to Army where I can see him playing on either side of the line as he also starts on the offensive line for Covington Catholic.

Jonny Lind Jonny Lind 6'3" | 275 lbs | DL/EDGE Covington Catholic | 2027 State KY is a player who caught my attention when breaking down junior year film. He is a versatile defensive lineman who can play inside at tackle or off the edge as a defensive end. Lind is a very skilled pass rusher who plays with a high motor. He explodes out of his stance then uses his speed and quick pass rush moves to fight to get to the quarterback with ease. Lind recorded four sacks and multiple pressures in 13 games as a junior. He also finished last season with 58 tackles and made a big impact at offensive tackle, where he could also play at the next level. Jonny is committed to Army where I can see him developing into an impact player on whichever side of the line they decide to play him.

Lind has a big, strong, impressive frame and knows how to use it. He shows a quick first step and can win right off the ball with his burst and physicality. He has the versatility to play on the edge, contain outside runs, and still create pressure on the quarterback. He also has the strength to slide inside and hold up against the run when needed. He plays through the whistle and brings a high-effort style every snap. He could end up being a steal for the right program because the tools and motor are both there.
