Lubno is one of the fastest rising prospects in the state this spring pulling in eight D1 offers before committing to Utah earlier this month. 6’3” 215 lbs. he’s got a solid frame with the arm talent, athleticism, and speed to match (ran a 100m PR of 11.04). Plus arm strength allows him to naturally throw with velocity or touch to all areas of the field off different throwing platforms. He possesses a quick and compact release that can get the ball out under pressure without losing accuracy or velocity. One of his key strengths is his processing ability and quick decision making. He’s able to scan the field and work through his reads while feeling/avoiding the oncoming rush to anticipate throwing lanes. Not the focal point of his game but speed makes him a constant threat in the running game on both designed runs and broken plays. Still has a ton of upside as he gets to the college level.

Dynamic dual-threat skillset with a strong physical profile at 6’3” 205 lbs. Smooth delivery, length and good rotation in his hips/shoulders give him added arm strength to push the ball vertically or drive it with velocity to the short/intermediate levels. Good touch, he’s able to mix up speeds based on throwing lane and be accurate with good trajectory on the deep ball. Strong pocket movement, he does a good job feeling and avoiding the rush to escape to either direction while maintaining his accuracy throwing on the run to either direction. Keeps his eyes downfield and quickly sets his feet to deliver. Plus athlete with deceptive speed, he’s dangerous with his legs on both designed runs and broken plays. Quality all around college prospect that should see a bump in recruitment going forward.

Jonah Lubno Jonah Lubno 6'3" | 215 lbs | QB Campo Verde | 2027 State AZ brings a lot to like to the quarterback spot for Campo Verde. After transferring from Hamilton, he’s going into a situation where he can really step into his own as a player. He’s got good size and throws with noticeable zip, especially when firing over the middle. What really stands out is his form when he’s throwing on the move — it’s clean, polished, and consistent. From the chest up, he looks exactly the same as he would in a clean-pocket throw, but what’s impressive is how well he’s able to twist his hips and generate power without needing perfect foot placement. That kind of body control shows he’s been coached up and puts in the work. He’s got a really smooth, quick release and throws a very catchable ball. The big question is how quickly he adjusts to the varsity lights, but if he settles in early, there’s no reason he can’t have a huge year.
