2027 Spring Stock Risers: Offense

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Deep dive into the 2027 offensive prospects that have seen their recruiting stock on the rise this spring. </h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">Guiney had a great spring pulling in his first three D1 offers from New Mexico, Eastern Washington, and Northern Arizona before just recently verbally committing to Eastern Washington. The OT out of Liberty has a great frame at 6'5” 260 lbs. that is well-balanced and has room to add mass as he develops. A plus athlete with natural movement skills and mobility to execute a variety of blocks effectively. Shows strength and power at the POA in the interior run game. Can reach to seal the edge in the perimeter run game. Gets out in front of screens to engage defenders early in space. Easily matches movement to keep a clean pocket in pass protection with a quick kick step and good lateral movement allowing zero sacks throughout the 2025 season. Demonstrates strong hands and a good ability to sustain blocks throughout the play. Plus arm strength allows him to naturally throw with velocity or touch to all areas of the field off different throwing platforms. He possesses a quick and compact release that can get the ball out under pressure without losing accuracy or velocity. One of his key strengths is his processing ability and quick decision making. He's able to scan the field and work through his reads while feeling/avoiding the oncoming rush to anticipate throwing lanes. Not the focal point of his game but speed makes him a constant threat in the running game on both designed runs and broken plays. The 6'1” 190 lb. RB out of Notre Dame is a fast north/south runner that applies immediate pressure to the defense by pressing the LOS scrimmage early. He fights through initial contact and makes quick decisive lateral cuts as he works to space. Once in space, he flashes his acceleration and long speed to break away from defenders. He sustains that second gear and is able to cap off long runs in the endzone. Also shows he can catch the ball out of the backfield on screens and first level routes. Rushed for 1,177 yards with nine total touchdowns in the 2025 season adding 72 tackles, one interceptions, and 10 PBU's on defense. At WR, he's plus route runner that accelerates hard out of his stance and makes sudden cuts to break defenders off at the top. Downfield speed makes him a vertical threat but also opens the route tree underneath. Strong hands catcher of the football, he's able to create leverage and time out his jumps to compete and win at the high point. Recently pulled in his first offer from Drake but is a rising prospect that deserves to see increased recruitment going forward.</p>   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-x wp-block-embed-x"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/JosiahSmith27/status/2034915559574221154 </div></figure>     <p class="text-gray-700">After sitting out a chunk of the 2025 season due to transfer rules, Riley has been a fast rising prospect this spring racking up nine total offers including three FCS programs in Eastern Washington, Northern Arizona, and Drake. 6'0” 180 lbs. his skillset flashes with fast acceleration, good body control, and strong hands that translate well both in short area separation and contested catches. Explosive first step and short area burst, he's quick off the line and separates immediately coming out of the break. Start/stop speed gives him great change of direction being able to sink his hips cleanly and redirect without losing balance or speed. Shows he can stretch the field vertically, turn short routes in long gains, or work across the middle with confidence. Demonstrates excellent body control and spatial awareness at the catch point being able to adjust and play the ball outside his frame.
