A big change that is happening for the Eagles is at quarterback with Anthony Jackson Anthony Jackson 6'0" | 165 lbs | QB Loudoun Sports Academy | 2028 State VA transferring to Loudoun Sports Academy in the winter, incoming junior Jonah Howells Jonah Howells 6'4" | 190 lbs | QB/ATH Osbourn | 2028 State VA appears set to take over. Howells has looked good during the 7v7 circuit and I was impressed with how he performed at our Winter showcase.

This is a young man who has waited patiently for his time and Coach Copeland’s staff is excited to have him on board. Howells is a big qb with a cannon but he can move well in the pocket too. He doesn’t just stand back there and take hits, the kid moves pretty good on the run.

Good height, solid frame. A dual-threat QB with good quickness, solid speed. Good arm strength, with good zip on the ball. Solid accuracy. Possible ranking riser after next season.

Jonah Howells is a stock riser kid to me. He has a ton of potential as a quarterback. He has great size (6’4″) and has good mechanics. He throws a very catchable ball as well. My only concern would be that he needs to put more velocity on the ball. This is not the biggest concern, though. He throws an accurate ball and is not afraid to put it in tight windows. Howells played well at the 7 on 7, but he also has the potential to be even better.
