Expert Analysis

It was a mixed bag on the day for John Wychick. Wychick was exceptional when coming down hill, breaking down, and coming to balance. I do not recall him ever losing a rep during cat & mouse drills. However, I have questions surrounding his speed and discipline. In pass drop situations, I thought that rather than getting square and reading the quarterback, he soft of drifted and went where he wanted to.

John Wychick John Wychick 5'9" | 205 lbs | LB/ATH Sun Valley | 2027 PA is a talented linebacker who is a tackling machine. He played both as an inside and as an outside linebacker last season. At both positions, he showed a good ability to read his keys and attack downhill. He has good fundamentals, as he does a good job of firing from his stance. He also does a good job of getting off his blocks and making tackles. The other area he excels at is chasing plays all over the field. He is good at making plays in both the open field and inside the box. Wychick is a good linebacker with potential to get better.
