He is rarely, if ever, off the mark when throwing. He does a nice job of getting through his progressions and consistently delivering the ball on time. He is especially accurate on quick game. This is where he shows good footwork to throw the ball on time and quickly. This allows the players to make plays in the open field. Steinmetz is a good quarterback in the 2028 class.

He has good pocket presence, and when he feels pressure, he does a good job of keeping his eyes downfield to throw the ball. Then, on defense, he shows good ability as a strong safety/outside linebacker. He does a good job of playing in space and reading his keys. He is a good tackler in the open field as well. Steinmetz was a good player this season on both sides of the ball. He has a bright future.
