John plays the ball well in the air and has ability to time the jump. Has quick feet and gets in and out of breaks smoothly. Not afraid of the 1v1 matchup and seems to have a knack for getting the ball out on 50-50 balls. The Thayer Academy DB can play both into the boundary and the field corner. He shows the knowledge to be both a man-man and zone corner. Would like to see him more active in the run game and how he makes tackles. Is a good prospect that can add to a college secondary.
