Koett has been one of the more prolific passers across Northern California for the last several years for VDL, and has put up some impressive numbers in the process. In his Senior campaign, he was the league offensive MVP, and threw for 2,500 yards and 30+ touchdowns, while rushing for another 2 scores. He is a true pocket passer that stands tall in the pocket and puts nice touch on the ball when throwing vertical and can move safeties with his eyes before his release. When needed, he can scramble and run and is physical with the ball while not afraid of contact and taking a shot in order to deliver the ball downfield. He seems comfortable throwing both in-breaking and outbreaking routes, and will plenty of experience leading into his collegiate career behind center.
