Jiquan Sanks Jiquan Sanks 6'0" | 175 lbs | DB Central | 2024 State AL is a standout defensive back that has greatly benefited Central’s secondary in recent years.  As a coverage cornerback, Sanks displays excellent technique and footwork that allows him to mirror receivers effectively and disrupt their routes- he also has the ability to anticipate throws and make timely breaks on the ball results in pass breakups and interceptions on a consistent basis. In addition to that, Sanks is a reliable tackler who brings physicality and technique to his tackling, making him a terrific defender in open space.  All around as a cornerback, Sanks has a ton to offer- it doens’t matter if he’s in coverage, playing against the run, or lined up on the opposite side of the field- he’s going to find a way to make plays. Last fall, Sanks had a big season where he recorded 28 total tackles (3 for loss), one interception and 5 breakups. Recently, Sanks pledged his commitment to Cincinatti!
