About Jettson

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am an athlete that values long, explosive, and disruptive action on both sides of the ball. At 6’4”, 235 lbs, I play tight end & defensive end w/ equal effectiveness, leveraging my size; 405 lb squat/265 lb clean to physically dominate matchups. As a TE, I run the seam well & showcase soft hands, but my blocking chops are also impressive. On defense, I play w/ active hands & high energy.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Since I was very young, my parents have always said that I am, "chasing greatness." No matter what I am interested in, I commit, wholly, to learning it and becoming the best at it. I am a master fisherman, a dedicated athlete and a strong student. I 100% know that I am destined for a D1 school that wins championships; I will work tirelessly until I WIN that title!

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am the also a strong rugby player. Rugby is a club sport. I am a consistent 3 try score -per-game player. I have consistently been awarded 'man of the match' during my rugby seasons.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have volunteered at the Humane Society to help clean up each spring / summer. I am part of the Captain's Council, Captain of our football team. I help with the kids / youth coaching camps.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I am fortunate enough to say that I have not faced any significant challenges other than bodily injuries from time to time. I do not take this for granted. I realize how fortunate I am to have a family that loves and supports me both mentally, physically and monetarily.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that has a strong football program - a program that utilizes their tight ends and is able to financially support my college career. Academically I am interested in exercise psychology.
