A Minnesota 2026 I was stoked to get my first live eval on at the SDSU 6/9 prospect camp was Kasson-Mantorville’s Jeremiah Peterson-Gordon. The 5’10 190+ pounder from the Komets, ran consistently two 4.6s in the 40 yard dash, 4.44 in the pro agility and well-versed explosives in the broad jump were seen with a 9’4 in Brookings. Jeremiah might not be the biggest corner out there, but the frame is well put together for his size and he showed at SDSU that he knows how to utilize his physical presence and has the twitch college coaches should want athletically in my eyes. Jeremiah is quite under the radar right now, with just one D2 offer.

padded up during the fall, we’re happy with the number of overall exposure points we have on the now-junior, who has been around since the inaugural 2026 rankings launch thanks to his plethora of varsity starting experience that began when he was a young freshman. Now a rising four-year starter, JPG was a can’t-miss eye-catcher during the summer, showing off smooth footwork, technique, and hips, plus a wide, muscular build, at this past summer’s RTB Golden Gopher camp, and he also did a good job of putting that frame to good use this winter when PRzMN saw JPG at the MN Grind 7v7 Tryout in December. He’s also a standout performer at last April’s PRzMN Combine Series Showcase, and our most recent athletic numbers we have on the 507 product have him running in the low 4.8s in the 40, a 4.39 shuttle, and a near 9′ broad jump for good measure. Additionally, JPG is a good hockey player who posted 22 points in the 2023-24 season with high-powered Dodge County.
JPG has really developed as an offensive weapon and shows playmaking ability as both a RB and pass catcher in KM’s triple-offense attack. The second play of his tape shows him sacrificing his body and leaping parallel to the ground in a swan dive of a goal line dive in a fearless display of athleticism, and he displays noticeable burst, speed at the top-end to finish runs for six, and is quick and powerful after the catch and with the ball in hand. The 190 lber. bounces weaker tackles off his upper body like a bowling ball on pins, can run his legs through soft contact, and shows a generally quick and twitchy running style and gait. Good overall contact balance. The two-way playmaker doesn’t waste steps and is sudden in his T-step and when he triggers on the football, and I love his love the footwork as a defensive back, as well as the ability to drop his hips in synch when mirroring with a DB in-route, then unlocking and flipping those same hips when a receiver makes his break. He also has good hands that can catch the ball away from his body, ball skills. and is able to make plays on the ball on a variety of different routes. Can’t wait to see who offers first.

A well-known name in the 2026 class, JPG is in his third year starting for the Komets and continues to get better and better as the years go on. Also a standout at the Minnesota Gophers prospect camp this summer, who caught my eye thanks to his quick-twitch ability and technique during DB positional drills led by Gopher coaches and players. The 5’11, 190 lber. has been a three-phase contributor in 2024, lining up at RB, WR, CB, kick returner, and punt returner, and has popped off touchdowns, interceptions, and explosive runs galore. JPG has noticeably improved his body and game since his sophomore season, especially in the speed, strength, and contact balance departments. He can now easily bounce and run through tackle attempts off his lower and upper body alike and shows smooth, powerful cuts and noticeable burst. He’s patient, runs behind his blockers, displays good vision, and has the speed to take the edge on a defense as well as finish big runs once he gets to the third level of a defense. I like his smooth running style, as he glides between and through defenders and traffic, and demonstrates an effective stiff-arm, keeping that play side arm free and uses his weapon. The 190 lb. CB can also flip his hips smoothly, closes with pace, and shows good ball skills in man coverage. Really like his junior tape and gains since his sophomore season. I foresee a lot of recruiting visits in his future.

Another one of the top DBs in the state, Peterson-Gordon is a true do-it-all athlete that gives coaches headaches. Defensively, he brought down one of the most impressive interceptions I’ve ever seen. A pass was thrown considerably over the receiver’s head and Peterson-Gordon jumped up and mossed the receiver to bring down a pic. Offensively, he only got two rushes, but one was a giant gash that he took over 50 yards to the house.
