Jeramicheal Hernandez Jeramicheal Hernandez 5'6" | 150 lbs | WR Valley Vista | 2025 State AZ was a player I was looking forward to getting my eyes on before the event and was not disappointed by his performance at the PRZ Arizona Combine. Another twitchy player with a skillset that seems to be perfectly built to play the slot receiver, Hernandez does a great job of getting defenders to bite before cutting away and getting immediate separation. I thought he did a great job of showing both his secure hands and a good catch radius; which is really important for a player of his size. At just 5’5″, he was the shortest pass catcher at the event but didn’t play like it at all. Coming off a year where he found the endzone four times, Hernandez should take a big jump in 2024 with his ability to get open in tight spaces.

His elite level shiftiness makes him a player who rarely ever goes down with the first defender. Hernandez’s feet are so fast that when he starts to cut, there’s no chance for the defender to react fast enough. Even if they somehow do, his burst out of those cuts will leave the defenders in the dust. His ability to get from stopped, to top speed is incredibly impressive. This quick twitch also allows Hernandez to get great separation when he’s trying to get open, and often finds himself running alone in space. As a receiver, Hernandez was only able to find the endzone four times in 2023; that number should see a significant jump in the 2024 season.
