Jayden Wade
About Jayden
Expert Analysis
Keaton Donnelly | Prep Redzone Scout
Jayden Wade has taken off receiving national attention after making the move from Carson California to IMG Academy. The 6’4 190 pound Quarterback has received 9 D1 offers including Georgia and Oregon and played in the UA All America 8th grade game to end 2023. Wade has all the attributes needed to be a great QB, but the thing that stands out to me the most is his ability to dominate no matter who it’s against whether it’s top 8th graders or an IMG Varsity Schedule. The ability to make soft touch passes and also be able to throw darts to receivers impressed me. Although he has a great arm he’s not afraid to get it done with his feet and lower his shoulder on a defender. Wade has the Mechanics, size, athleticism, and strength to not only be the best QB in Florida but one of the best QB’s in the country. IMG has produced many top Quarterbacks over the years and Wade has the resources and coaching there to be next.

is a baller! Receiving the nod from UA All-American game was a lay up. Then he pocketed offers from Utah and San Jose St. Oh and he’s suiting up for IMG to fall in line as the next big prospect out of this juggernaut academy. Let’s hold off on his projection and just talk right now. Jayden has sharp mechanics, a natural throwing motion, elite feet, great hip mobility, and don’t get it twisted, he’s strong. All of these attributes add in to his explosive play making ability. He can get the ball to whoever, however. The soft touch on his passes from his laser throws to fit in small windows is already in his toolbox. With the type of work ethic and solid environment around him, it will be hard to not reach his full potential which is a terrifying thought for his competition.

You’d be hard-pressed to find another Quarterback in the class of 2028 that is as physically developed as Wade. The 6-foot-1, 150-pounder is put together extremely well and looks high school-ready right now. He models his game after Texas legend and former NFL 1st round pick, Vince Young. The comparison isn’t too farfetched. Wade is set to begin his seventh-grade season and trains with Laced Facts in California. He already holds an offer from San Jose State and has already visited Nevada and USC, among other schools.
