Jaydon Ponder is a speedy running back out of Allatoona High School. Ponder is an electrifying player that accelerates 0-to-80 and hits his top speed fast enough to outrun angles. This season he rushed for 1,282 yards and 8 TD’s. His ability to make cut’s on a dime with smooth and fluid feet allow him to separate from defenders. Ponder is surprisingly tough enough to not bounce outside but rather attack the hole inside to use his lateral agility to pick his way through traffic. This kid is special and I can’t wait to see him perform in the playoffs.
