Debnam plays with an aggressive mentality and has proven to be a tackling machine from the secondary, consistently coming downhill and making his presence felt against the run. What makes him an intriguing prospect, however, is that his physicality does not come at the expense of his coverage ability. Debnam is equally impressive when asked to cover, showing the athleticism, instincts, and competitiveness to stay with receivers in space. His ability to impact the game both as a tackler and in coverage gives him a well-rounded skill set and has earned him a spot at #40 among defensive backs and #264 overall in the latest rankings.

Debnam is newer to our radar, but we really like what we’ve seen of him. Another two-way player, he fits the profile of a versatile athlete whom the Campbell staff can develop into a key contributor. He’s a bit on the lighter side for a true free safety, but shouldn’t have any issues adding to his frame, and he should be able to maintain his speed and explosive attributes as he does so.
