Reclassfying to our 2026 class seems to be paying off for Jayce Jean-Philippe. Already a top ranked 2025 prospect, Philippe had an All-state season at linebacker for Saint Michaels. He surely will be ranked high in his new class as he just picked up his first offer from Hampton University.

Jayce is a stacked LB for St. Michaels and played a strong role in their success on defense this year. I recently covered him in one of my mid-season highlight articles, and he continued his strong play for the remainder of the season. He can operate in both run and pass defense and is one of the better linebackers in the state. Be sure to keep an eye out for him this Saturday.

Jayce is a stacked LB who transferred to St. Michael the Archangel this season and has started strong. He displays good processing and reaction at the snap in his Run/Pass reads. He comes downhill with good quickness and explosiveness, using his hands to engage blocks and fill the gap. Shows good range against the run and the pass. He displays good zone coverage, reading the eyes of the QB and understanding route concepts to disrupt the throw. He is proving why he is our 6th-ranked LB in the Class of ’25.
