The word big is an understatement to show off the game that Sioux Falls Roosevelt had last Friday in their 35-26 win over Sioux Falls Washington. Jaxsen ran with a chip on his shoulder for the Rough Riders as he also was excellent getting thru heavy contact areas. He also had extremely instinctive vision as an north-south runner that ran with probably the most fluidity we saw from the running back position in South Dakota last week. How Jaxsen doesn’t have an offer yet that we can track, is unreal to me as he has been the workhorse for the Rough Riders rushing attack this season as the #11 ranked overall prospect in South Dakota’s 2024 class. Our #2 WR in South Dakota still without an offer yet is Sioux Falls Roosevelt’s Jaxsen Grevengoed. Jaxsen is slightly smaller than the others on this list, however Jaxsen is another prospect that can stretch the field really quickly with his vision and game-time burst in the open field. I also like the awareness instinct Jaxsen brings before the defender gets in his arsenal as he has the solid agility to make his move prior to the DB gets in position. Jaxsen also is a WR prospect you will get maximum effort out of, as I love his fight on tape for getting extra yards even though the window has started to close. Jaxsen is one I have high expectations for this summer at prospect camps, but I could see an NSIC school pulling the trigger before then with an offer.
