Andrew Johnson | Prep Redzone Scout
1,672 passing yards | 18 TD | 9 INT
It’s not every day you see an eighth grader putting up this type of production at the high school level. Smith stepped into a major opportunity and has handled the challenge well, filling big shoes while continuing to develop against older competition. The passing numbers are impressive for a quarterback this early in his career, and he’s shown the willingness to take on responsibility rather than shy away from the moment. There will be plenty of development ahead, but getting this kind of experience as an eighth grader is valuable. Smith is one of the younger names worth keeping an eye on in Central Florida.
