Mitchell has caused problems for opposing offenses all season, recording 11.5 sacks and ranking second in Polk County in that category based on the numbers provided. At 6-4, 220 pounds, he has a frame college coaches can build on, and his production shows that he is consistently finding ways to affect the quarterback. The next step is continuing to develop his pass-rush approach by using his length effectively, varying his rush moves and learning how to counter when offensive tackles take away his initial move. Consistent quarterback pressure is always valuable, and Mitchell has given college programs a reason to take a closer look. With the postseason approaching, he has an opportunity to add to an already productive season and strengthen his profile against quality competition.
