Check Out Which Prospects Used Week 7 To Turn Some Heads

It has become easily the most popular weekly feature that we run – and as the 2026 season moves along – more and more prospects are being exposed and recognized.   With college coaches from all over the country checking our website and social media out every day, they are treated – on Monday and Tuesday – a look at some of the top performances across the talented Sunshine State.   The number of people who are now subscribing to see what we offer every day – with Drew Johnson giving you prospect information that you cannot get anywhere else, team features and these informative top player performances along with player rankings, you know why we have shot to the top of high school football coverage.   Today, we take a look back at some of the talented prospects – in each class and in every corner of the state – who made an impact.   We are also promoting what many have done throughout the seven weeks of the season.   2027 - Iyen“Rico”Addison, RB, Starke Bradford County. This two-sport (track & field) standout has been huge for the unbeaten Tornadoes this season. Last week, he ran for 174 yards on 19 carries and a 56-yard touchdown. He also holds down a 3.3 GPA in the classroom.   2028 – [player_tooltip player_id='1870941' first='Noah' last='Alce'], RB/LB, Miami Ransom Everglades. As the Raiders got out to a 4-1 start, this impressive talent has been there every step of the way. In five games, the versatile 5'11, 180-pounder has 406 yards rushing and 4 scores. On defense, he has 22 tackles, 2 tackles for loss and 1 sack. He also returns kicks.   2027 – Bryce Bell, RB, Brandon. This gifted senior gave the Eagles a huge lift – scoring five times. The 5'7, 160-pounder is also getting it done in the classroom – with a 3.3 GPA.   2027 – [player_tooltip player_id='2130489' first='Marino' last='Cozzens'], QB, Seffner Christian. Another huge night for this talented senior who accounted for 6 touchdowns as his team remained unbeaten with a 49-6 win.   2027 – [player_tooltip player_id='2171589' first='Samari' last='Curry'], DB, Royal Palm Beach. Has there been a bigger surprise than this football program, and this young man – the son of the head coach – has been one of the main reasons. In moving to 5-1 with a big victory over previously unbeaten Palm Beach Central, this quality talent had three interceptions, a huge stop and a 40-yard kickoff return. This quality talent also is attracting college attention with his 4.0 GPA in the classroom.   2027 – Curt Ellis, RB, Blountstown. This elite athlete, who won a state championship in the 100 meters (10.5) ran for 250 yards on 13 carries and had 3 touchdowns. Committed to UConn.   2028 – [player_tooltip player_id='2343667' first='Amari' last='Green'], QB, [player_tooltip player_id='2122848' first='Lake' last='City Columbia']. Has been a catalyst for this unbeaten team, and this past week in their biggest test of the season, he had 386 yards passing with 4 touchdowns. He added 40 yards and 1 touchdown rushing.   2028 – [player_tooltip player_id='2137279' first='Carmello' last='Harden'], DL, Bartow. After seven weeks of the season, this has been a productive junior year for this 6'2, 305-pounder – with 4 sacks, 30 tackles for loss, 10 QB pressures, 2 forced fumbles, 1 fumble recovery and 1 pass breakup.   2027 – [player_tooltip player_id='2336246' first='Matthew' last='Hennesey'], QB, Palmetto. This 6'4, 205-pounder has been huge for this program so far this season during a 5-1 start. Completing 70 percent of his passes, he has thrown for 1,200 yards and 13 touchdowns.   2027 – Grayson Hilinski, WR/SS, Maitland Orangewood Christian. One of the programs that has made an impact this season – and this versatile student (4.0 GPA)/athlete has come up big with 17 catches for 266 yards and 3 scores.   2028 – [player_tooltip player_id='2220392' first='Davion' last='Jackson'], WR/DB, St. Petersburg Catholic. It was an impressive week for this 6'4, 180-pound standout who had 3 receptions, 95 receiving yards, 25 returning yards - 120 all-purpose yards. He's getting some early looks because of his grades (3.4 GPA) as well.   2028 – Isaiah Johnson, OL/DL, Jacksonville Christ's Church Academy. He had a very good week against Gainesville Oak Hall with 12 total tackles and 1 tackle for loss. The 6'1, 245-pounder is also making some strides as a student with a 3.8 GPA.   2027 – [player_tooltip player_id='377390' first='Zac' last='Katz'], QB, Miami True North Classical Academy. This FIU commit had a huge win against Miami Norland. He finished 21 of 31 for 320 yards, and 4 touchdowns through the air and 56 on the ground. The talented prospect crossed 12,000 yards for his career and 130 passing touchdowns.   2028 – Morgan Mastropolo, S/WR, New Smyrna Beach. The 5'11, 178-pounder had a solid week with 2 pass breakups, 2 tackled for loss and returned a punt 80 yards. He is also a stellar student with a 4.0 GPA.   2029 - Gianni “G” Osorio, LB, Haines City. One of the emerging young defensive players had a solid Week 7 with 16 total tackles, 3 tackles for loss, 1 sack, 1 forced fumble and maintains a 3.0 grade point average in the classroom.   2028 – [player_tooltip player_id='866791' first='Noah' last='Patell'], WR, Plant City Durant. The standout junior had a solid week against Riverview Spoto with 3 catches for 111 yards and a TD. He is enjoying a productive season.   2028 – [player_tooltip player_id='2152269' first='Nehemiah' last='Pinnock'], DE/TE, Titusville Astronaut. In just 6 games, this 6'3, 220-pound standout has 7 sacks, 25 tackles, 4 tackles for loss and two forced fumbles.   2028 – [player_tooltip player_id='1941045' first='Michael' last='Pyne'], QB, Tampa Alonso. This impressive talent had a huge game for the unbeaten Ravens with 7 touchdown passes and 304 yards. He has thrown for over 1,000 yards and 14 touchdowns this season and 25 in his career. The 6'2, 215-pounder who has numerous college offers already is also tremendous in the classroom – with a 4.33 GPA   2028 - Quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1870916' first='Brady' last='Quinn'], Hollywood Chaminade-Madonna. While his team came up short against the No. 1 team in the country, Fort Lauderdale St. Thomas Aquinas, he finished his night with 18 completions for 263 yards and a touchdown. He also had two rushing scores on 1 and 18 yards that gave the Lions a 14-7 lead at the half, finishing the night with 88 rushing yards.   2028 – Will Reinhold, QB, Melbourne. As a dual enrolled IB student who holds down a 3.5 grade point average, this junior also is making a splash on the football field for the Bulldogs – completing 5 passes for 152 yards and 3 touchdowns and running for 40 yards.   2031 – Loukas Rettas, QB, Boca Raton Saint Andrew's School. Let's hear it for this 8th grader who completed 16 balls for 200 yards and 2 scores against one of the top 1A schools in the state.   2028 – Merrick Richardson, DE/TE, Sarasota. This gifted junior playmaker has enjoyed a very good first half of the season – with 35 Tackles (15 solo), 12 tackles for loss, 8 QB Hurries, 1 Sack and 1 forced fumble for the Sailors. His work in the classroom (3.56 GPA) has also opened some eyes.   2031 – Jaxon Smith, QB, Lakeland Victory Christian. Here is another 8th grader who is indeed special. The 6'0, 180-pounder who is also a basketball standout, was 7 of 9 for 264 yards, 5 touchdowns in one half!!! Remember that name!   2028 – Aiden Sorens, WR, Estero. While the team hasn't gotten off to the start they had hoped for, this talented junior has 24 receptions for 405 yards (16.9 yards per catch) and 5 touchdowns.   2030 – Deuce Woods, QB, Orlando The First Academy. This young prospect continues to lead the Royals on offense, helping clinch the district title with a win against Cocoa. He was 6 of 11 passing for 116 yards and 1 touchdown. He also carried 6 times for 76 yards and 2 touchdowns.
