I rated Jaxon the #5 TE prospect in the Charlotte area earlier this year, and a major reason why is his blocking. You rarely get named as an All-Conference player being primarily a blocking tight end, but that is exactly what happened with Jaxon. He has versatility as an in-line blocker or an H-Back/move type of blocker, and those players are popular with coaches with the number of different offenses in today’s game. Hopefully Jaxon can showcase his receiving abilities more this season to show coaches he can provide even more value.
