is that. Likewise, that ability to create opportunities for his teammate would arise on multiple plays. Prokop can be used in a variety of ways, such as in-line and out wide. His positional flexibility was impactful on quick screens and runs. Coupled with his receiving aspect, Prokop will make catches over the middle of the field.

. The 6’4″ 220-Pound TE, displays an outstanding frame for the position. Prokop will make the move from St. Anthony’s, back home to Long Island, and will suit up for Centereach this season.
Prokop is an outstanding playmaker, who plays like a WR, and a TE. As a pass catcher, he moves well with his size, and displays some solid speed. I like his ability to avoid contact, and break free from defenders. As a blocker, he showcases good strength along with good hand placement, allowing him to push back blockers in the run game.

Prokop, is one of my favorite athletes on the Friars offense. The 6’4″ TE, had a great game, in both the blocking, and receiving aspects for St. Anthony’s.
Prokop, was elite in the blocking game, and helped hold the edge, with excellent hands, and strength leading to multiple good runs for the Friars. In the Passing game, he showed good physicality, and made good catches for gains. After the catch he looks like a receiver, and has good speed and footwork.

Prokop had a solid sophomore year and has proven himself as one of the top 2027 prospects in the state. He has excellent size at 6’4” and 220 pounds, with a high ceiling. Whether lined up at tight end or in the slot, Prokop delivered for the Friars. As a receiver, he has strong hands and consistently makes plays through contact over the middle. He also showcased his blocking ability in the run game. His size and versatility are exciting, and he’ll be one of the top tight ends in the state.

Prokop is an intriguing prospect because to really understand the full skillset, you need to watch tape and see him live in a 7v7 or camp setting. Prokop has a good physical profile for a sophomore and has room to get bigger/stronger. He is a big target with great length and a big catch radius. His movement skills are in a good spot for 6’4 220, although his physical profile and athleticism will continue to evolve and develop throughout the rest of HS.
I don’t often make player comparisons, but Prokop looks pretty similar in body type and skillset to ’25 TE Monsignor Farrell and Buffalo Signee Aidan Pedreros from the same league. Just like Pedreros, Prokop won’t show a ton on tape catching the ball because of limited targets, but in a camp/7v7 setting, he shows it can become a big aspect of his game at the next level.
The benefit of limited targets right now? Prokop has nearly six minutes of blocking tape in his SOPH year. He has strong hands and does a good job of sustaining blocks. He is excellent on the perimeter against DBs, and as an in-line TE, he does a good job of winning with leverage and body position stale-mating defensive ends.

34. Jax Prokop
6’4, 220 pounds. 4.0 GPA, a sophomore out of Saint Anthony’s HS in Long Island, New York. Up five pounds from his playing weight, stuck out like a sore thumb at this event. I mean that as a compliment.
6’4 with arms that could touch his knees, Jax Prokop was the second physical threat deployed by 3rd & Ten, Prokop working alongside Kameron Roy. A player of Prokop’s stature and skill set would likely be better used in a padded setting, yet I came away impressed with how crucial Prokop ended up being during 3rd & Ten’s championship run. A ton of clutch catches, I remember Prokop making the most out of a few YAC opportunities too. Not many TEs will be featured on this list, as it’s almost exclusively a WR/DB driven event, yet I can’t help but carve out a space for Prokop here considering the value he brought to the offense.

Prokop, the lone TE prospect on the Team, was never the focal point of the offense, but he made some very important catches when 3rd and Ten converted some long 3rd Downs. Prokop is a big prospect, and the TE frame was evident, but his ability to catch and turn up the field with some burst was something I was really impressed with.
I saw Prokop at camp about a year ago, and a year later, he has made a lot of progress in continuing to develop as an athlete while also getting bigger and stronger. Many guys lose a step with extra weight, but Prokop shows good movement skills for his size profile.

above, another New Yorker earned some recognition as a big body hybrid-type in Long Island’s Jax Prokop
-Looks the part at a 6-foot-2 and 185-pounds with long arms (claims a 6-foot-5 wingspan) that helped him get his fingertips on passes that may have been overthrown, or too high, for many other Wideouts
-Prokop moved decently but there is room for improvement here–specifically in route running. Rounded his routes and didn’t get in and out of his breaks easily. That said, he still made a lot of catches. He’s a tall target and can become a Quarterback’s best friends with his frame creating a nice window to throw to

A 6-foot-3 Wide Receiver/Athlete that is playing on the same Long Island Elite travel ball team that has produced a number of talented prospects, most recently being 2026 national recruit Preston Carey. During the regular season Prokop played up on the JV team for Centereach High School and is also a talented kicker.

Jax has big-time wideout coming out of Long Island in New York. As a 6-foot-3 wideout, Jax runs smooth routes as he works through the defense and seems to be sure-handed, so when he gets targets, he’s not going to drop the ball. With Jax being such a big target, he has no problem going up and getting jump balls in the end zone. Jax also highlights his kicking ability in his tape as well. As a punter, Jax booms the ball downfield and helps flip the field for his team, and forces his opponents to have to work down the field. As a placekicker, Jax has a strong and accurate leg that allows his team to score through field goals if they can’t get into the end zone. Jax proves to have a lot of talent, it will be exciting to see where his career takes him in the future.
