He flows well to the ball, keeping his eyes on the play and diagnosing what’s coming his way. His ability to drop into coverage and stick with receivers and tight ends should make him even more attractive for college coaches. He finds the right gap more often than not and sheds blocks regularly. Kies also could be a dynamic special teams performer.

His blitzing ability off the edge adds a disruptive element to his game, making things tough for opposing quarterbacks and offensive linemen. Kies’s wide tackle radius, combined with his speed and burst, allows him to bring down ball carriers trying to get the edge or evade him in the open field.
