In Lithonia is where you’ll find one of the top 2028 defensive line prospects in the state. Edwards, a giant 6-foot-4 285-pound interior defensive tackle, already holds several impressive Power Four offers and should see more come his way this winter. He’s another big, physical lineman who can hold his own in the trenches while providing the Lithonia defense with pass-rush from the interior. He plays hard, shows a good motor, and was a consistent contributor throughout the season. Ranked as the No. 5 DL and the No. 14 overall prospects in Georgia for the 2028 class, Edwards is coming off an outstanding sophomore season where he made 48 tackles, 11 TFLs and seven sacks.

10/20/25: This is my first look at Edwards, a bonafide major P4 prospect. Well-developed and beyond his class weight wise. Creates easy push and very difficult to move. More of a mountain in the middle right now, but he pursues well around the line of scrimmage and has a hot motor. Checks the size and strength boxes you want in the middle of your defense.

A big, powerful interior defensive linemen from metro-Atlanta, this Lithonia native brings natural strength and plenty of size at 6-foot-4 285-pounds. He’s a consistent run defender who takes on blocks, fights them off, and attacks the ball-carrier. He held his own all season long for a young defender and earned offers this winter from major Power Five programs across the country. His best football is years ahead of him and he’s now ranked as the No. 2 DL prospect and the No. 9 overall prospect in the state for the 2028 class.

A big, physical interior defensive tackle who showed lot of promise last season for Lithonia, Edwards was tough to move last year for opposing offensive linemen as he did a great job of holding his own, fighting off blocks, and eating space between the tackles. He takes on double-teams, clogs running lanes, and played to a physical standard that you’d expect from an older defender. He did his job, and as he continues to transform his body and gets into better and better shape, Edwards has a chance to have a giant season as a sophomore. He certainly has the size, and he’s added big offers this month from Georgia, Florida, Auburn, South Carolina, Texas A&M, among others.
