Expert Analysis

Jackson is nothing short of a reliable linebacker. He brings effort, but more importantly, he brings the boom. He is a solid linebacker who isn’t shy of contact, especially behind the line. He finished last week alone with four tackles for a loss, but his ability to fill a gap puts him in the right position at the right time. His initial fire off the snap is huge as well, as he is setting himself in a great position, which makes him a reliable tackler in the run game. I do believe he has made strides in the weight room, just based on his strength. He also has solid finesse to get off the line of scrimmage and away from blockers when he cheats up to the line, which often provides a disadvantage. Has solid speed, and I would love to see some steps forward in the pass coverage aspect, but he is everything you could want from a run-stuffing backer.

A metro-Atlanta linebacker with impressive quickness and instincts, Jackson is a rising-senior coming off a strong junior season for Dutchtown. The 6-foot-0 215-pounder made an impressive 103 tackles last season with four TFLs, two sacks and 20 quarterback pressures to go along with four pass-breakups in coverage. He takes good angles to the ball-carrier and knows how to wrap up properly. His stock is on the rise and he added a new recent offer from Air Force.

A linebacker south of Atlanta who deserves more attention after an incredibly productive junior season, Jackson is seeing his recruitment pick up now with a new offer from Dartmouth. The thick, quick-reacting defender stands at 6-foot-0 210-pounds and does a good job of delivering a fundamentally sound hit on the ball-carrier. This sleeper linebacker made 103 total tackles to go along with 2.5 sacks, four TFLs, two forced fumbles and three pass-breakups. He has a true nose for the football and is likely bound for an even bigger senior season later this fall.

He may not be the biggest linebacker , but Jackson is a smart, quick-reacting defender who lit up the stat sheet last year with 103 Tackles, four TFLs 2.5 sacks, 20 QB pressures, two forced fumbles, and three pass-breakups for the Dutchtown Bulldogs. He brought max-effort and has a nose for the football. When he meets the ball-carrier he consistently got them to the ground. Now, this rising senior will play at Lithonia and will see a new Prep Redzone ranking come his way in the next update.
